Alternate Justice of the Criminal Cassation Chamber of the Supreme Court, she was presiding judge of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the state of Lara and she is the sister of Luis Karabin, deputy director of the Corps of Scientific and Criminal Investigations (CICPC) and former director of the Bolivarian National Police. Karabin de Diaz entered the TSJ after the death of Justice Ninoska Queipo.
