He was sworn in as an alternate judge in the Constitutional Court on December 28, 2014. He was chief labour judge in the state of Apure in 2005, according to the official website of the Supreme Court. He also took over as chief civil judge, and presiding judge of the Judicial Circuit of the state of Apure, according to research published by the website Runrunes.
